The Professional Fighters League returns to Arlington, Texas on Friday for PFL 3 — almost certainly their most stacked card of the year to date.
Promotional darling Kayla Harrison kicks off her 2022 campaign in the main event, headlining a card over established stars like Julia Budd, Ray Cooper III, Rory MacDonald, and Anthony “Showtime” Pettis. The inclusion of Pettis, in a lightweight fight against Myles Price, was an outlier on a card that otherwise focused on welterweights and women’s lightweights.
Pettis’ inclusion in the card comes after his fight at PFL 1 last month was delayed due to injury. But it adds some extra spark to an already stacked card. The debut of Budd in particular is expected to draw interest, as she could prove to be a real foil for the always-dominant Harrison, the biggest star the league has produced.
