The upcoming ONE 157 card later this month will be heavy on Muay Thai and Submission Grappling, and light on MMA.
The Singapore-based event takes place on May 20, 2022, and will be headlined by a Muay Thai title fight, with featherweight champ Petchomorakot Petchyindee defending his title against Jimmy Vienot.
ONE Championship officials announced the news via press release on Tuesday. The first fight of a Muay Thai double bill, meanwhile, will see Prajanchai PK.Saenchai defend his strawweight belt against #1 ranked Joseph Lasiri.
Quarterfinal and alternate bouts in the Flyweight Muay Thai grand prix will also feature. On the MMA side, highlights include previously announced appearances by Marcus Buchecha and Alyse Anderson. Garry Tonon, fresh off a title fight loss to Thanh Le, will return to the grappling realm, against Tye Ruotolo. The other Ruotolo brother, Kade, will face Shinya Aoki earlier in the night.
