KSW 67 | Poland | Saturday

Welterweight, Adrian Bartosiński (11-0)

Bartosiński is a wrestler with heavy hands. On the feet he lacks technique. Instead, Bartosiński will march forward and just unload with bombs. He is a much better at wrestling when he gets in close. Bartosiński has smashing ground and pound and is pretty well-versed with his submission attack. Overall, I’m not impressed with his gas tank but he’s still young. He fights Andrzej Grzebyk (18-4).

Light heavyweight, Ivan Erslan (11-1)

On the feet, Erslan is dangerous with the power in his hands. Where at times he can swing wild he does throw a good jab and settles down more. Erslan hasn’t wrestled lately but is more of a threat on the mat. His ground and pound is by far his best weapon — it’s a fight changer. He fights Hasan Mezhiev (12-0).

Featherweight, Dawid Śmiełowski (8-0)

Smielowski is a highlight-reel fighter. He has a 100% finish rate with 6 KO/TKOs victories and two submissions. Among those wins, he has finished with a bulldog choke, a flying knee, and head kicks. Smielowski, being a tall, rangy fighter is a solid kickboxer. And while he can be technical, he’s a showman, throwing caution to the wind always looking for the kill shot. His takedown defense does need work but even off his back he’s shown to be at least promising. Smielowski does have improved grappling and at only 26 he has a high ceiling. He fights Filip Pejić (15-6).

Fury FC 58 | US | Sunday

Bantamweight, Levi Mowles (16-4)

Mowles has fought quality opponents his entire career. He’s only lost to Tony Kelley, Damon Jackson, Miles Johns, and Raufeon Stots who are UFC and Bellator fighters. On the other side of the spectrum, he’s beat Jimmy Flick, Adrian Yanez, Jose Johnson, Ahmet Kayretli, and James Gonzalez. On the feet, Mowles isn’t the best but as soon as the fight hits the mat, he’s a slick grappler. Mowles has seven submissions, the ground being where he thrives at. He fights former UFC fighter Justin Scoggins (12-6).

Lightweight, Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady (11-3)

Al-Selwady is a wrestler first-and-foremost as he closes the distance very well and has the strength to elevate his opponents and slam them to the mat. As I’ve said before, Al-Selwady is getting better and that showed with his striking where he’s really quick on the release along with showing accuracy and power. He’s the former Brave CF lightweight champion as well, and is now training at Fortis MMA. He fights Nick Compton (12-9).
