Bellator 275 | Ireland | Friday

Featherweight, Khasan Magomedsharipov (6-0)

Magomedsharipov is the younger brother of UFC featherweight Zabit Magomedsharipov. Khasan is 6-0, although he has done some kickboxing fights as well. Magomedsharipov is a flashy kickboxer that likes to stay loose and throw those spinning kicks. It’s not overdone and his diverse striking is tight and set up. As good as he is on the feet Magomedsharipov is even better using his wrestling and grappling. He’s a long guy and uses it to his advantage on the mat, staying in control of every mistake his opponents make. He’s a submission threat from all positions. Magomedsharipov fights Jose Sanchez (11-1).

Bantamweight, Jornel Lugo (7-0)

Lugo has been very impressive in his career to date, including wins over John Douma, Cortavious Romious, Keith Lee, and Cass Bell who are all good fighters. Lugo does have a grappling game but on the feet is where he excels. He’s a tricky fighter who utilizes his striking from the end of his punches. He holds his hands low to his waist in what could be a problem but it allows the angles he uses to stay hidden. He has really good hands and his jab is textbook. Lugo frequently switches stances giving different looks. Overall a young and talented fighter. He fights Brian Moore (14-8).

Bantamweight, Khurshed Kakhorov (8-0)

Kakhorov is a chaotic fighter that brings pressure and power. Hopefully, he has a better performance than what he had last time. Everything Kakhorov throws is with everything he has. Kakhorov can end the fight with his hands, knees, elbows, kicks, and ground and pound. He’ll throw a bit wild but puts everything together rapidly. Kakhorov is just an ultra dangerous guy that could catch you at any point. He fights the well-known Brett Johns (15-3).

UWC 31 | Mexico | Friday

Bantamweight, Adrian Luna Martinetti (8-1)

Martinetti has some decent skills on the feet with kicks but is primarily a grappler. His wrestling I wouldn’t rate too highly but his overall ground game shines. Martinetti will lose positions at times but even off his back he’s attacking and scrambles well. He does a good job at staying active and is always working. Even though he is a submission threat his gas tank has held up very well. Martinetti fights Brandon Uruchurtu (1-3).

Flyweight, Alan Martinez (3-0)

“Super Glue” Martinez is undefeated as a pro and amateur. He’s 3-0 as a pro and 3-0 as an amateur. He was the KOTC champion as an amateur and is undefeated as a pro for UWC out of Mexico. Martinez is a glue-like grappler with a strong submission base. He gives no space when doing work and actively hunts for the finish. Martinez fights Jhoao Ruiz (2-3).
