The all-Rafael battle atop UFC Vegas 48 (numerically, UFC Fight Night 201 barring any broadcast plan changes) now has an official poster.

The Fight Night card, set for February 19, 2022, is topped by a lightweight showdown featuring former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos against up-and-coming Kyrgyzstani Rafael Fiziev.

UFC Vegas 48 is set to take place at the UFC Apex, and will mark dos Anjos’ second fight since returning to 155lbs last year. In his return fight, the former champ defeated fan favorite Paul Felder in a close split decision.

From 2017 to 2020, Dos Anjos (30-13) called welterweight home. He competed for an interim title once, against Colby Covington, in a losing effort. In his very next fight, he’d be tuned up by future/current champ Kamaru Usman. After picking up a win over Kevin Lee, RDA would lose his final two fights at 170lbs before making the drop back down.

Fiziev (11-1), meanwhile, has not lost since his promotional debut roughly three years ago. Since then, he’s posted five straight wins, and earned four straight post-fight bonuses. In his last outing, he battled it out with Brad Riddell, finishing the tough New Zealander in the third round with a spinning wheel kick.

Prior to that, Fiziev shared Fight of the Night honors for his bout with Bobby Green.
