10 Light Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Josh Silveira

28 | 6’1″ | Miami, Florida, US | 7-0 | 6 finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 4 Submissions (3 RNC’s, Arm-triangle) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 28-10 | Best Win – Jared Revel (11-2)

Silveira is someone I’d imagine getting signed very shortly. Living in Coconut Creek, Florida he trains out of American Top Team under head coach and his father Conan Silveira. He’s  7-0 but went 4-0 as an amateur so he does have experience. Not high-level experience until last year when he fought a few good fighters.

Silveira wrestled in College for Arizona State University and was a Florida high school state champ. With that wrestling pedigree always in his back pocket, he’s able to let loose on the feet. His shot selection is very on-point with his hands and his left high kick is very sneaky and dangerous. Silveira really checks all the boxes and is a major prospect. Just recently he became the second-ever LFA double champ winning the light heavyweight and middleweight titles.
