10 Light Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Vitor “Icao” Petrino

24 | 6’2″ | Santa Luzia, Minas Gerais, Brazil | 6-0 | 5 Finishes | 5 KO/TKOs | Combined Opponents’ Record: 26-31 | Best Win – Gadzhimurad Antigulov (20-8)

Petrino is an undefeated Brazilian with a lot of momentum. In 2021 he made a big impact beating Gadzhimurad Antigulov. Antigulov was an ACB champion and was a six-fight UFC veteran. In what was an eventful fight Petrino knocked out Antigulov in the second round. Outside of that, he’s impressed big time throughout his career.

Petrino is a talented well-rounded fighter capable of finishing the fight anywhere and anytime. On the feet, he can fight backward countering. Going forward he throws tons of output and is both explosive and athletic. He will easily excel in UAE until he gets the call from the UFC.
