ONE Championship has announced the full card for Winter Warriors on December 3, which will include the conclusion of its women’s atomweight grand prix.
While the promotion had originally scheduled its historic ONE X for that same weekend, that event was postponed last month. Instead, Winter Warriors will take place live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, with a lightweight kickboxing title fight in the main event.
That bout will see champion Regian Eersel defend his belt against promotional newcomer Islam Murtazaev.
For MMA fans, the women’s atomweight grand prix finale will be must-see TV. When the tournament kicked off earlier this year, standouts like Seo Hee Ham, Itsuki Hirata, Ritu Phogat, and Stamp Fairtex were among the favorites. With a couple of those names forced out due to injury/illness, the final is no less compelling: Phogat and Stamp each won both of their first two fights to advance, pitting the pair in a classic wrestler vs. striker showdown.
Two top-ranked lightweights will also face off at the event, with #5-ranked Timofey Nastyukhin taking on the #3-ranked Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev.
