Once Valentina Shevchenko and Lauren Murphy signed on for UFC 266, the fight grew into a sort of David vs. Goliath battle. While there was no denying that Lauren Murphy had earned her shot at Shevchenko with her five-fight win streak, the question leading up to the fight would be… was it enough to take the belt away from Valentina?

Valentina Shevchenko had been tested with many different styles over the years, and seemingly grew more unstoppable with every challenge that came her way.

No matter the critics discredited her ahead of the fight, Murphy had earned her shot at UFC 266. Still, “Lucky” had nothing to lose and everything to gain Saturday. Luck just wasn’t on her side, however.

Valentina Shevchenko continued on her build her already legendary resume as arguably one of the best females to ever enter the Octagon with her fourth-round stoppage of Lauren Murphy.  Shevchenko left no doubt once again, proving that no matter how many wins you rack up in a row, nothing is slowing down the champ. She is the Queen of the division with her sixth straight title defence.
