Lauren Murphy Interview (2:26)

This week’s episode kicks off with a very special guest. Joining TTP during the fight week of her UFC 266 flyweight title fight is Lauren Murphy. She discusses the perceptions around Valentina and why she just doesn’t buy them. She also shares what she thinks it will take to beat her and why she believes she has those traits. Plus, she talks not just about Valentina, but also about the journey it took to get where she is today. That includes a look at why it was never really about the belt for her and what is the most important part of fighting to her.

Fights, Dogs, and Parlays: UFC 266 (25:12)

The guys are white hot with their picks – and I do mean white hot. Three – count em – three straight underdogs have hit for Gumby and Shockwave and they’re looking to make it four. Who do they like at UFC 266 to score the upset? You’ll have to check it out. And while you’re there, you might as well hear their picks for the rest of the top of this card and a parlay to make your wallet fat as well. The card is absolutely loaded and so is this preview.

Jonathan Pearce Interview (41:41)

Closing out the show is out interview with UFC 266’s Jonathan Pearce. JSP talked a bit about his long layoff and the effects that it has had on his training. He talks about his decision not to fight Gabriel Benitez, who badly missed weight for their fight, and how that effected him personally as well. He also digs into his upcoming bout with Omar Morales. While Morales is known for his striking, Pearce feels like he can hang with him on the feet. So, he discusses whether he thinks the fight will remain there or whether his grappling might take over the fight.
