Christian Lee (15-3) will attempt yet another defense of his ONE Championship lightweight title at the promotion’s Revolution card on September 24.

He’ll also be sharing the card with younger sister Victoria for the first time — another special night for the first family of ONE Championship. Lee’s elder sister, Angela, holds strawweight gold in the company. Victoria, at just 16 years old, made her debut in the ONE cage earlier this year, and has now posted a 2-0 record.

“I’m very excited to be sharing my first event with my little sister Victoria. It’s really interesting how everything goes, because when I first started my career, I was sharing the card with my older sister Angela,” the lightweight champ told Cageside Press during a recent media appearance featuring all three siblings. “And for the beginning of our careers, many of our fights were shared on the same cards. And so now, me being the champion, headlining this event, I’m really excited to have Victoria on the card with me as well. We’re going to put on a great show for the fans, and I’m excited to be heading to Singapore together with her.”

Lee’s latest title defense comes opposite South Korea’s Ok Rae Yoon, who defeated former UFC champ Eddie Alvarez to earn the shot at gold. Asked if there was any disappointment at not getting to face the high-profile “Underground King,” Lee said there wasn’t.

“No, you know, I’m glad that I’m fighting Ok. In my opinion, Ok Rae Yoon is the only guy deserving of the title shot right now,” replied Lee. “He’s the only guy in the top five I haven’t faced yet. Eddie Alvarez, he was a big name coming over from the UFC. When ONE Championship signed him, he had a lot of traction behind him. But since then, he hasn’t done enough to build himself a run up to the title.”

“I’m still waiting on Eddie to start winning a few fights, and then we can square off in that circle,” Lee added. “But for now, I’m very glad to be facing Ok, and I feel like he’s the only worth contender.”

ONE Championship: Revolution takes place Friday, September 24 in Kallang, Singapore, with Christian Lee facing Ok Rae Yoon in the main event.
