Middlweight (185lbs): 0-1 (UFC)

Antonio Arroyo made his debut in the UFC last November against Andre Muniz in the middleweight division. Arroyo is 6’3″, has a 73″ reach, and is now 31 years old.  The two time DWCS bout winner lost his debut to Andre Muniz and thanks to a series of unfortunate events has yet to grace the octagon for his sophomore bout.

Antonio had a scheduled bout against Trevin Giles, where he made weight just prior to the weigh-in time cut offs, but had to be transported to the hospital shortly afterward when he was discovered by his team in a semi conscious state. (according to a report by The Scrap) In Arroyo’s most recently scheduled bout against Eryk Anders, his opponent was actually the one forced to cancel the bout thanks to a bad weight cut.

For UFC Vegas 17 both Arroyo and his opponent Deron Winn have faced weight issues in the past, and as a result, the bout will be a catchweight one, taking place at 195lbs.
