Rafael Fiziev is one of the most elite strikers in the UFC today. Fiziev is the striking coach at the famed Tiger Muay Thai Gym in Phuket, Thailand. Rafael has five KO/TKO finishes on his record, thanks to his high-level Muay Thai skills. Fiziev has been training in Muay Thai since a very young age and literally has hundreds of amateur fights within the martial art.

Fiziev’s brutal body kick finish of Nurzhan Tutkaev under the Titan FC promotional banner in late 2018 was enough to catch the eyes of many, including the UFC. Fiziev joined the UFC in early 2019 and though he has yet to get a finish with the promotion, has looked very impressive and faced nothing but quality opponents. (Magomed Mustafaev, Alex White, Marc Diakiese) Fiziev’s striking techniques as well as his defensive abilities wow fans and are fast making him one of the most exciting fighters to watch in the UFC. Fiziev is the striker in an ever-popular striker vs. grappler matchup at UFC 256 when he takes on Renato Moicano in one of the ‘sleeper’ fights on the card.
