Abdul “Judo Thunder” Razak Alhassan (10-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC)

Welterweight (170lbs): 4-2 (UFC), Missed weight 1 time

Abdul Razak Alhassan has a very muscular physique and he is a big guy for the 170lbs. weight class. Alhassan is 5’10”, has a 72″ reach, and has competed numerous times in weight classes heavier than the welterweight division but not while under the UFC banner.

Abdul fought at middleweight throughout his professional career including before entering the big show and even had his second professional bout under the Bellator promotional banner at a catchweight of 190lbs.

Before Alhassan’s most recent bout, against Mounir Lazzez, he missed weight coming in at 174lbs. It should be noted that Alhassan took this bout after he was forced into a two-year hiatus from the sport, over sexual assault allegations that he was eventually proven not guilty of. Almost four months later at UFC Vegas 14, Alhassan will be looking to make weight and bounce back after just the second loss of his pro career.
