Poliana Botelho (8-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC)

Strawweight (115lbs): 2-1 (UFC)

Flyweight (125lbs): 1-0 (UFC)

Poliana Botelho stands at 5’8″ and posses a 67″ reach, a very big frame for someone who used to fight at just 115lbs.

Botelho fought the entirety of her career, before entering the UFC, in the flyweight division. But when Poliana got the call up to the UFC she took the route that most fighters do and dropped down a weight class to strawweight. Poliana was able to rack up a couple of wins before falling to Cynthia Calvillo in the first round of their 2018 bout. Calvillo, however, came in heavy (118lbs) for the fight. After the loss, Botelho moved back up to flyweight and has since picked up her first win in the division with a unanimous decision win over Lauren Mueller last year. She fights Canadian Gillian Robertson at UFC Fight Island 6.
