Not one but two Bellator Europe cards have been announced for Milan, Italy.

On Tuesday, Bellator officials revealed that the promotion will make stops in the Italian city on both September 26, and October 3. Both cards will be part of the organization’s European Series, clocking in as Bellator Europe 8 and Bellator Europe 9, respectively.

The September 26 card is set to be headlined by Fabian Edwards taking on Costello van Steenis. October 3’s event, meanwhile, sees James Gallagher vs. Cal Ellenor booked for the fourth time.

Gallagher (10-1), who trains alongside Conor McGregor at SBG Ireland, won all three of his Bellator bouts in 2019. His lone loss came in a stunning upset against Ricky Bandejas the year prior.

Ellenor (8-2) was originally scheduled to face Gallagher last year, but health concerns forced that fight to be cancelled. The bout was eventually re-booked, but a back injury suffered by Gallagher pushed it back. A third pairing was lost due to the coronavirus. Both fighters are clearly hoping the fourth time is the charm.

Middleweight Fabian Edwards (9-0), brother of UFC contender Leon Edwards, will look to maintain his perfect record later this month. Edwards defeated Mike Shipman in his last outing. Opponent van Steenis (12-2) enters the night off a loss to John Salter. Edwards and van Steenis were originally set to meet in May, another fight pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.
