Daniel Cormier is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in the sport of mixed martial arts. His takedowns, takedown defense, and grappling are unmatched for nearly every opponent that he has faced during his professional MMA career.

For all of DC’s accolades in wrestling, he sure does have some nice hands. Cormier’s dirty boxing is a huge part of his fight game. Daniel has some great dirty boxing and has real power in his hands especially when he is in the heavyweight division. Case in point, his first-round KO of one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time, Stipe Miocic at UFC 226. Just a short right hand while exiting the clinch is all it took from Cormier as he is able to generate so much power in a short distance.

The weapon to look out for from DC at light heavyweight was definitely his wrestling and grappling but at heavyweight, the extra weight that he carries gives him exceptional knockout power.
