Top submission expert Rodolfo Vieira returns at UFC 248, where he will take on Saparbek Safarov.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Rodolfo Vieira has his sophomore trip to the octagon scheduled. On Tuesday, the UFC announced via it’s Brazilian website that Vieira will take on Saparbek Safarov at UFC 248 this March.

The event is the promotion’s third PPV of 2020, and the card has slowly been filling up.

Vieira (6-0) won his promotional debut against Oskar Piechota at UFC Uruguay last year. Not surprisingly, the fight ended in a submission — as most of Vieira’s contests do. Vieira is a gold medalist at the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship, the Brazilian World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, the Abu Dhabi World Cup, and the Pan American Championship, among others.

He’ll put his unblemished record on the line against Safarov (9–2), who is 1-2 inside the octagon to date. He defeated Nicolae Negumereanu via a unanimous decision at UFC London last year to claim his first win in the promotion.

UFC 248 goes down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on March 7, 2020. The card currently breaks down as follows:

Zhang Weili vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk – for the UFC women’s strawweight title
Robert Whittaker vs. Jared Cannonier
Calvin Kattar vs. Jeremy Stephens
Danaa Batgerel vs. Guido Cannetti
Polyana Viana vs. Emily Whitmire
Li Jingliang vs. Neil Magny
Beneil Dariush vs. Drakkar Klose
Sean O’Malley vs. Jose Quinonez
