Bellator 234’s preliminary card featured the return of Robson Gracie Jr, plus a women’s featherweight bout featuring Olga Rubin vs. Sinead Kavanagh.
Bellator MMA returned to Tel Aviv, Israel this week. Going down Thursday (but not airing until Friday in North America), Bellator 234 was topped by a heavyweight collision between hard-hitting Sergei Kharitonov and former light heavyweight title challenger Linton Vassell.
Before any of the main card action got underway, however, the preliminary card streamed online, via the Bellator App and Cageside Press. Among the early fights, one of four Gracie family members currently fighting for Bellator, Robson Gracie Jr., was back in action. Brother of Renzo Gracie, Robson was taking on Ameer Bashir.
In a key women’s featherweight fight, meanwhile, Olga Rubin, former title challenger, was facing Sinead Kavanagh.
