Paul Felder suffered a collapsed lung at UFC Phoenix, but just wants a beer, damn it!

There’s tough, then there’s Paul Felder tough. ‘The Irish Dragon,’ who broke his arm last year throwing a spinning back fist against Mike Perry, was back in action Sunday at UFC Phoenix. The end result of his return bout, against James Vick, was positive: a unanimous decision win for Felder. He didn’t even shy away from throwing those spinning attacks again.

Only problem: he suffered a collapsed lung during the fight. Seriously. But channeling Stone Cold Steve Austin, Felder dismissed the issue, saying he just wants a beer.

Once again, we’re not kidding.

Felder’s management team at Suckerpunch Entertainment announced news, with a photo of Felder being taken to hospital, where he was held for observation.

Felder, meanwhile, jumped on twitter to give an update on the situation request a beer. “I got two lungs,” Felder exclaimed, “I just want a beer for sh*tsake.”

Well, no one is ever going to accuse Paul Felder of being soft. With the win over Vick, meanwhile, Felder moves to 4-1 over his past five fights. Following the win, he called out Justin Gaethje, who faces Edson Barboza at UFC Philadelphia. Win or lose, Gaethje vs. Felder is a fight everyone wants to see, so perhaps sometime this summer.
