Charles Oliveira rained all over Jim Miller’s parade on Saturday at UFC Milwaukee, serving up a submission loss in Miller’s 31st trip to the octagon.

Jim Miller and Charles Oliveira met for the second time to open the final UFC on FOX card on Saturday night in Milwaukee, WI. Their first meeting, at UFC 124 way back in 2010, ended in a submission win for Miller, who got the finish via a kneebar. That, however, seemed like a different era. Miller was now making his 31st trip to the octagon. Could he get the better of Oliveira again?

It didn’t start out well for Miller. Miller opened with a leg kick only to be taken down by the Brazilian. Almost immediately, Oliveira took Miller’s back on the ground, getting one hook in. He was looking to slip an arm under the chin, and while Miller tried to roll free, Oliveira stayed on him. When he got a second hook in, the end was nigh. The arm went under the chin. Miller tried to fight Oliveira’s hands, but before long, he was forced to tap. Just like that, their career series was even at one win a piece — and Oliveira continued to build on his record for most UFC submissions!
