With a head of steam thanks to a big win last time out, Khalil Rountree Jr. was picked by many to get the win over newcomer Johnny Walker at UFC Argentina. Walker, however, had other ideas.

Coming off a big win over kickboxing legend Gohkan Saki, Khalil Rountree Jr. entered UFC Argentina with a head of steam. The Ultimate Fighter 23 standout was 3-2 (1NC) in the UFC, but looking to build off that big UFC 226 win. Standing in his way, Johnny Walker, making his UFC debut after appearing on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Brazil.

The light heavyweights circled early, with Rountree staying on the outside. As they engaged, Routree forced Walker to the fence, but ate a knee. Moments later, he ate a lot more than that. Walker fired off a short elbow that absolutely devastated Rountree. He hit the ground hard, and Walker added a couple of follow-up strikes before the ref made the save. Rountree was out, and Walker had won his UFC debut in stunning fashion!

A clearly elated Walker could barely contain himself during his post-fight interview. But perhaps the most entertaining and amusing moment came when the UFC rookie called for UFC President Dana White to add him to the UFC 3 video game.
