ONE Championship returns to Shanghai, China with Beyond the Horizon in September, and on Monday announced the full card for their return to the Chinese mainland.

Women’s strawweights will be in action when ONE Championship: Beyond the Horizon goes down next month in Shanghai, China. In a press release distributed on Monday, the Asian MMA promotion announced that ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan of China was set to put her title on the line against Brazil’s Samara Santos. The title fight will serve as the Beyond the Horizon main event.

China’s Xiong Jing Nan (12-1) captured the ONE strawweight title earlier this year against Tiffany Teo in January. That led to her first successful title defense, against Laura Balin at Pinnacle of Power in June. Entering the ONE cage for the third time this year, she’ll look to improve her win streak to eight straight when she takes on Santos.

Challenger Samara Santos (12-5-1) enters the night off a win over Rosiele Pereira de Almeida in the regional scene. However, prior to that she had lost four straight, including a bout against Invicta FC title challenger Aga Niedzwiedz.

In the co-main event, meanwhile, former ONE Championship featherweight champ Honorio  Banario (13-6) will take on Amir Khan (10-3). Khan has spent nearly his entire career in ONE, and is 7-1 in his past eight fights. Most recently, he finished off Sung Jong Lee at Unstoppable Dreams in May.

Banario, who first competed for the promotion at ONE FC 2 in 2012, has won five straight, after a five fight losing streak from 2013 to 2015. Whoever comes out of Banario vs. Khan should be within striking distance of champ Martin Nguyen at featherweight.
