Bellator 196’s co-main event will have some international flavor, with Ukraine’s Lena Ovchynnikova taking on The Netherlands’ Denise Kielholtz.

Bellator 196 in Hungary has its co-main event set. Following the announcement of the card, which is headlined by Irish sensation James Gallagher taking on Adam Borics, the promotion has unveiled the card’s co-feature. In the penultimate fight of the evening, Ukrainian kickboxer and mixed martial artist Lena Ovchynnikova will face Denise Kielholtz at flyweight.

Lena Ovchynnikova (12-5) will be looking to get back in the win column at the event. Last time out, the decorated striker was defeated by Alejandra Lara at Bellator 190 in Florence, Italy. Overall, Ovchynnikova is 2-2 in Bellator. She’s also a former amateur kickboxing champion, who went 12-6 as a pro.

Denise Kielholtz also brings some kickboxing accolades to the cage. Just 1-1 in MMA, the recent convert has over forty-five wins in kickboxing, and holds the Bellator Kickboxing Women’s Flyweight Championship. Perfectly positioned to become an eventual two-sport champion, she submitted Jessica Middleton at Bellator 188, and will now look to build momentum. Kielholtz has held several other kickboxing titles, while also competing in boxing and judo.

Bellator 196 takes place at the Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, Hungary on April 6. The card will air on the Paramount Network in North America.
