Strawweight MMA action hits ONE Fight Night 47 on Sept. 4 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok as Ryohei Kurosawa meets Fabio Henrique sources tell Cageside Press.
Kurosawa (20-6) will look to snap a two-fight losing streak when he takes on Henrique. The Japanese strawweight enters the matchup following consecutive losses to Keito Yamakita and Bokang Masunyane. Prior to that skid, Kurosawa had put together an impressive six-fight winning streak. A victory over Henrique would provide a much-needed return to the win column and help Kurosawa regain some momentum in the division.
Henrique (15-2) will look to continue his rise in ONE Championship after scoring a stoppage victory over Yosuke Saruta last May. Despite being out of action for well over a year, Henrique enters the matchup with plenty of momentum behind him. A win over Kurosawa would give him back-to-back victories and further establish him as a name to watch in the division.
ONE Fight Night 47 goes down Sept. 4 from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The card features superstar Stamp Fairtex who continues her return to ONE coming off a split-decision victory over Cynthia Flores in June.
Also featured will be a flyweight muay thai scrap between Jaosuayai Mor Krunghepthonburi and Jordan Estupinan in the co-main event of the evening.
