A tumultuous day at the scales on Thursday led to some interesting scenarios at LFA 235 on Friday.
The main event middleweight bout between Andrew Stewart and Zayne Havener had no issues, but Will Davis weighed in at 161.2lbs for a lightweight fight. Also expected for the main card, Kestin McClain was a pound over at featherweight (147lbs, missing the non-title limit). David Richardson vs. Jimmie Pace Jr. was set for a 190lb catchweight; both fighters hit the mark there.
On the prelims, Isaiah Watkins and Eric Moore both missed weight, with Moore’s bout already being set at a 165lb catchweight prior to him missing.
All fights moved forward regardless, with those missing weight hit with fines.
