The second event of a weekend double header from U.K. promotion Cage Warriors saw them back at the BEC Arena in Manchester, England for Cage Warriors 191.
In what was unquestionably the more stacked of the two events, two title fights were set to unfold. In the headliner, bantamweight champion Liam Gittins sought to make the second defense of his 135lb title against Alessandro Giordano – a rematch of their March showdown, which had ended in a No Contest due to an accidental eye poke.
In the co-main event, Omar Tugarev and James Power faced off for an interim lightweight title.
Update: Due to Giordano withdrawing, Tugarev vs. Power will now close out the show.
