ONE Championship is heading back to Tokyo, Japan, at the Ariake Arena on Nov 16 the promotion announced on Thursday.

ONE Championship made a stop in Tokyo in March in a spectacular event at Saitama Super Arena. Saitama is hallowed ground in the world of MMA having been the primary location for PRIDE MMA.

“After a record-breaking event in Japan last March at the legendary Saitama Super Arena that garnered more than two billion organic digital views, we are thrilled to return to Tokyo and the Ariake Arena this November to showcase the world’s very best martial artists at ONE 173,” said ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong in a press release.

We are constructing a card that will be electric from start to finish, featuring multiple World Title bouts across various martial arts disciplines that will create lifelong memories for all those in attendance and watching around the globe.”

This is the second visit for ONE in Tokyo this year, but first time at Ariake Arena since January 2024.

ONE 173 was originally set for Denver, Colorado earlier this year before the promotion canceled the event following an injury to Muay Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex.

No bouts have been announced as of this post. Early bird ticket pre-sale lottery opened today.
