The UFC returns to the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec for the first time in a decade for UFC 315, which features two title fights this Saturday, May 10.
The main event sees Belal Muhammad look to defend his welterweight title in the same arena that the legendary Georges St-Pierre had some of his biggest moments in. Muhammad is set to take on Australian Jack Della Maddalena, who was shifted from a fight against Leon Edwards in London after it was determined that Shavkat Rakhmonov would not be healthy in time for the title bout.
A second title fight on the UFC 315 card sees Valentina Shevchenko looking to make the first title defense of her second reign as women’s flyweight champ. After three consecutive fights with Alexa Grasso, it’s Manon Fiorot that Shevchenko must turn back. The French flyweight has long been circling a title shot, and has not lost a fight since her professional debut, when she was handed her first and only setback by future Bellator featherweight star Leah McCourt.
Also featured on Saturday’s main card, former women’s flyweight champ Alexa Grasso, who will face a rising contender in Natalia Silva. And UFC legend Jose Aldo returns, looking to bounce back from a controversial loss to Mario Bautista in his last outing. “The King of Rio” will take on Montreal’s own Aiemann Zahabi in the bantamweight fight.
Thursday sees the UFC promotional machine back in action for the UFC 315 pre-fight press conference at the Bell Centre. A live stream is available above starting at 5:00PM ET, 2:00PM PT.
