ONE Championship’s second card of the weekend arrived on Friday night (Saturday local time in Thailand) on Prime Video, with ONE Fight Night 28 bringing a strawweight Muay Thai title fight to the famed Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
That main event saw two sport champ Prajanchai taking on dangerous U.K. challenger Ellis Badr Barboza.
On the MMA side of things, the card lost one fight at Thursday’s weigh-in. Ibragim Dauev missed weight by a wide margin for his bantamweight fight with Jeremy Pacatiw, coming in 7.25lbs over. That’s with ONE’s generous weight rules, which defines bantamweight as 135-145lbs. With Dauev at 152.25 pounds, it was little shock to see Pacatiw decline the fight.
