The PFL Europe 2024 season wrapped up on Saturday, with four title fights under the European branch of the Professional Fighters League at the PFL Europe Championship, and “Lazy King” Abdoul Abdouraguimov headlining the show against UFC veteran Laureano Staropoli.
If Abdouraguimov was the main draw, and the title fights the side dishes, there were some very interesting appetizers being served up on Saturday. In a series of “Doumbé decides” bouts, French star Cedric Doumbé would decide if the winner was deserving of a PFL contract, in case of an exceptional performance.
All the more reason for fighters to be looking for a finish at the PFL Europe Championship on Saturday.
