Former UFC superstar Nate Diaz landed in hot water stemming from an alleged incident in a Las Vegas nightclub in August.
Diaz, 39, has been charged with misdemeanor battery as a result of the incident.
TMZ Sports was the first to report the charges.
According to court documents the incident happened on Aug 25 at Omnia at Caesars Palace. Diaz and his crew were trying to get into the club and were in the cashier line when one of the guards walked up to the group.
Court documents say that Diaz and his group were holding up the line, and when the guard came up to them to see what was going on, Diaz went at him. Diaz allegedly pushed the guard, and when the guard pushes him back, he was hit with an open hand slap.

When the two were separated by other guards Diaz and his crew left before officers arrived.
Diaz was last charged with battery back in Sept. 2023 in New Orleans following a fight on Bourbon Street. The District Attorney eventually dropped the charges after reviewing video of the incident.
Nate Diaz, 39, is coming off a majority decision victory over Jorge Masvidal in a boxing match in July. That followed a 16-11 run in the UFC which saw Diaz score victories over Conor McGregor, Tony Ferguson, Anthony Pettis, Gray Maynard, and Jim Miller to name a few.
