The final UFC Apex show of 2024 has a main event.
Welterweight Neil Magny (29-12) will face Carlos Prates (20-6) in the main event of UFC Vegas 100, set to take place on November 9, 2024 at the promotion’s own venue in Las Vegas, Nevada.
News of the match-up was first reported by MMA Fighting on Thursday. Following the Fight Night card, the promotion will run shows in New York, NY, Macau, China, then return to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 310 before finishing the year in Tampa, Florida.
With shows in Abu Dhabi and Edmonton, Alberta prior to UFC Vegas 100, the company will have closed out the year with six of its seven final events outside of the confines of the Apex, a welcome sign for many fans.
As for Magny vs. Prates, the headlining slot will be the first for Carlos Prates in the UFC. The Brazilian has won his first three fights inside the octagon, with all three earning him Performance of the Night bonuses. A Contender Series alum, Prates previously competed for LFA and ONE Championship.
