“I tried my best to do a training session maybe break a sweat shake it off, (and) I couldn’t. Talked to the UFC, they helped me a little bit, and I couldn’t. That’s why it took to last minute before I walked out for them to say I wasn’t walking out.”
Rosas Jr (8-1) did not make the walk to the octagon that night. After having the fight moved a couple times it ended up on UFC Louisville. He wasn’t the only one who was sick that night.
“Well my team was sick and then I got it the day of the fight. I ate healthy, I had a good weight cut, I had everything and the day of the fight I was feeling lightheaded,” he said.

This Saturday he finally gets to fight Turcios who has not been submitted so far in his
“There’s always a first time, right? He’s been knocked out so that’s there too. I’m ready to go out there and finish him,” he said.
That’s not to say there isn’t some real heat behind this fight. After their fight cancelation Turcios seemed to be respectful of his opponent’s health issues. Rosas Jr doesn’t see it that way.
“It’s a little weird he comes and tells me it’s all respect but he went online after the fight and he said that he made it all clean,” said Rosas Jr.
“If he really feels the way he feels we’ll see if he does something about it Saturday night. I expect the same energy.”
