Sadibou Sy Details Fighting In Three Different Weight Classes

Las Vegas, NV – PFL light heavyweight Sadibou Sy is looking to get some get back for PFL as he takes on Josh Silveira at PFL 2: 2024 Regular Season on Friday night.

“Being one of the original PFL fighters from the 2018 season I always want to rep PFL,” Sy told Cageside press on Tuesday.

Fighting at 205 now Sy has venture into three different weight classes having fought at 170, 185, and 205. Not many fighters are willing to put their bodies through that kind of constant transformation.

“Me being the first and only fighter fighting in welterweight, middleweight and now light heavyweight…exciting! I feel great. For me cutting down to 170 was very, very hard. Something that I stayed disciplined and made it work, but for me now being able to focus on just my craft and not having to focus on the diet I actually feel much better.”

Sy (16-7-2) isn’t fighting a Bellator 205er this time however as he gets Silveira in Las Vegas on Friday night.

“To be honest I see a lot of different ways of getting it done, but the most important thing is me taking my time in there, and making sure that I’m staying disciplined,” he said.

“As long as I’m fighting the way I can and the way I should I’ll get my hand raised.”
