Mateusz Gamrot Scoffs At Chandler’s Wait For McGregor

Miami, FL – UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot is very much on the rise at 155-pounds, and he’s irritated with one man who he’s been wanting to fight, but just can’t get into the octagon with.

“Michael Chandler…he don’t want fight with me,” Gamrot told Cageside Press among other reporters at his post-fight scrum.

Gamrot (24-2) wouldn’t just love to get into the octagon with Chandler. He wants it as soon as possible.

“Today,” Gamrot said with a scoff. “No problem I can fight with him, but he wait(s) (for) Conor (McGregor). He will wait all (of his) life. I don’t think so he will fight real contender guys. Doesn’t matter who, top 5, I want to climb in the top.”

Multiple dates have been rumored for a bout between Chandler and McGregor, but nothing official has been announced as of yet.

One fight that does interest Gamrot and he could actually get is a bout with the winner of the #1 contender fight between Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira at UFC 300.

“I think Charles will submit Arman, but very interesting fight. Two guys is really tough. Similar style like Jiu Jitsu versus wrestling, both guys have good striking. We’ll see how will be game plan, but like I say I think Charles will win,” he said.
