Randy Brown Wants A Ranking Or A Ranked Fighter After UFC Vegas 85

UFC APEX – UFC welterweight Randy Brown looks to get a ranking or a ranked opponent with a win over Muslim Salikhov at UFC Vegas 85 on Saturday night.

“I think he’s tremendous. Explosive guy. A lot of the newer people don’t really know much about him, but I know what’s up,” Brown told reporters on Wednesday.

“I’ve been watching him for a while. He was ranked 12 at one point. Dangerous guy doesn’t matter the age or anything like that. I think that he’s still the same guy that he’s been and someone that I have to take extremely serious.”

With a win over someone as dangerous as Salikhov the only reward Brown wants is a ranking or a ranked fighter.

“It makes sense. Like at this point what are we doing? Absolutely,” Brown said.

“It doesn’t matter whoever’s in the rankings. I think I should be next up. Either in the rankings after this or fighting someone in the rankings after this. I got to focus on this dude first. Once we get past him we’ll take care of that.”
