UFC welterweights Geoff Neal and Ian Garry have once again been matched up, this time for UFC 299. The fight was supposed to have happened at UFC 292, but an injury took Neal out of the bout.

When they initial matchup at UFC 292 was booked Garry wasted little time in adding some heat to the matchup.

They are once again set to fight, but Neal still hasn’t forgotten the shirt.

“It wasn’t that bad, honestly, to me. It was in poor taste, was some low-class sh*t,” Neal said on The MMA Hour.

“I accepted the fight and he messaged me on Instagram talking about, ‘Hey man, best of luck on the fight and thank you for accepting the fight.’ Then a week later he posts the mugshot tee of me. So it’s kind of weird, but you get what you get.”

The shirt aside Neal is glad to have a chance to actually get hands on Garry at UFC 299.

“It was just low class. I’m not too bent out of shape about it. I’m just going to punch him in the face when I see him. We’ve got a date, March 7, I’m going to beat him up,” he said.

Garry wasn’t too keen on taking the fight again, but Neal always thought it’d go down.

“I figured he would want to run it back, but he was talking sh*t talking about ‘oh well I already beat him so I don’t have to fight him. I don’t know,” Neal said on The MMA Hour.

“Weird sh*t, but I’m glad we got a chance to run it back now.”
