Undefeated women’s strawweight contender Tatiana Suarez has her next assignment set.

On Tuesday, UFC officials announced that Suarez (10-0) will face recent title challenger Amanda Lemos (13-3-1) at UFC 298 in February. The event is set to take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, headlined by a featherweight title fight featuring champ Alexander Volkanovski and unbeaten challenger Ilia Topuria.

Suarez, who won The Ultimate Fighter 23 in 2016, has been plagued by injury over the years, but has been nothing if not successful when she has made it to the cage. She managed to fight twice in 2023, winning at both flyweight and strawweight. Most recently, Suarez picked up a win over ex-champ Jessica Andrade.

Her two wins in 2023 were Tatiana Suarez’s first fights since 2019, prior to the coronavirus pandemic.

Amanda Lemos is coming off a loss to champ Weili Zhang, a title shot earned on the strength of back-to-back wins over Michelle Waterson and Marina Rodriguez.

Suarez is ranked #3, and Lemos #4 in the UFC’s official strawweight rankings currently.

UFC 298 takes place February 17, 2024 with the following fights announced/reported for the event:
