The final event of the PFL’s 2023 season has been announced.

On Friday, November 24, 2023, the Professional Fighters League will wrap up its season with six title fights hosted at The Anthem in Washington D.C.

Promotion officials announced the news in a press release distributed on Wednesday. The league wraps up its final playoff event in New York City, with lightweight and welterweight action the final steps in the push to the championship round.

“We are thrilled to announce the 2023 PFL World Championship is coming to the nation’s capital, at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. to host the richest night in MMA on Friday, November 24,” PFL CEO Peter Murray was quoted as saying in Wednesday’s announcement. “The PFL World Championship presented by our great partners at CELSIUS®, will showcase the greatest athletes in the world and bring the best MMA action to the more than 650 million fans around the world.”

Among the fights already set for the Washington, D.C.-based card are a women’s featherweight final featuring Larissa Pacheco taking on Marina Mokhnatkina. Pacheco is looking to become the league’s first-ever two-division champion, after defeating Kayla Harrison in the women’s lightweight final last year. With the introduction of the 145lb weight class for women to the PFL this year, the lightweight division was mothballed.

Also in store for fight fans, a heavyweight final between Renan Ferreira and Denis Goltsov that screams fireworks, and a light heavyweight title fight featuring popular figures Impa Kasanganay and Josh Silveira. Finally, the PFL’s 2023 featherweight final sees Jesus Pinedo matched up with Gabriel Braga, two fighters who flew under the radar prior to the current season.
