Natalia Silva Expects Ranked Opponent Next, Says Secret Juice Is Good

Boston, MA – After taking a dominant decision victory over an WMMA pioneer UFC flyweight Natalia Silva hopes to have a ranking next week after taking down Andre Lee at UFC 292 on Saturday night.

“Now it is more easy to know my opponent because if you (are) in the rankings I want to fight with the fighter (above) me,” Silva told reporters including Cageside Press at her post-fight scrum.

Silva (16-5) should expect a ranking pretty soon with her fourth straight victory in the UFC which as she said opens up opportunities against other ranked opponents.

With UFC Sao Paulo coming up later this year it’d be natural for the Brazilian to want to fight in her homeland, but one obstacle remains in the way and it involves a teammate of hers.

“So in November I can’t fight because my friend Paulo Costa have a good fight in Abu Dhabi, and I need (to wait) because my coach Carlos will be with him in Abu Dhabi,” she said.

“Now I want to rest, see my family, and after that I will think about another fight.”

Funny enough, talk about Paulo Costa, and the question inevitably pops up. Does Silva take Secret Juice?

“I’m a clean athlete, I don’t want to contaminate. The secret juice is good. You need to (try it),” she said with a laugh.

“You need to try it because it’s good. It’s very good. It is very good to drink before the training.”
