A week after the retirement of Amanda Nunes and the reemergence of Charles Oliveira at UFC 289 in Vancouver, the promotion rolls back in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for a Fight Night event featuring middleweights at the helm.
Topping the action in Vegas this Saturday will be Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier, both looking to reestablish themselves as viable contenders in the 185lb division. That will be no easy feat, as both have already lost to champ Israel Adesanya — in Vettori’s case, twice.
Things would have been so much easier for the duo of Alex Pereira had remained champ.
In the co-feature, Arman Tsarukyan finally gets a fight, against Joaquim Silva — fingers crossed.
