The PFL Challenger Series returns to action on Friday night for the eighth and final time this year, with “second chance” fights affording a handful of fighters another opportunity to break into the league.

Topping the card, a would-be lightweight affair between Kendly St. Louis and Paulo Laia. St. Louis won earlier this season, in a 175lb catchweight bout that saw him finish Nick Alley. Denied a PFL contract, however, St. Louis returns this week for his second chance, but missed weight for the fight, hitting the scales at 156.8lbs. His fight with Paulo Laia will move forward at a catchweight nevertheless, but he may have hurt his chances of landing in the season.

In women’s featherweight action, meanwhile, Jackie Cataline faces Evelyn Martins, with both fighters coming off wins earlier in 2023’s Challenger Series run. Cataline is actually entering her fourth fight under the Professional Fighters League banner, and is 2-1 in the promotion to date.

Full results from Thursday’s weigh-in can be found below. Week eight of the PFL Challegner Series 2023 takes place Friday, March 17, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.
