TTP Ep. 369 with Sam Patterson, Steven Peterson, and UFC 286

Sam Patterson Interview (1:55)

Kicking off this edition of TTP is our interview with UFC lightweight, Sam Patterson. Fresh off the Contender Series, Patterson talks about his highly anticipated debut. While he would have liked this debut to come sooner, he is excited to get to be able to do so on his home soil. That first fight comes this Saturday at UFC 286 when he takes on fellow newcomer Yanal Ashmoz. He breaks down the fight and gives us a prediction for how he sees it all going down.

Fights, Dogs, and Parlays: UFC 286 (19:59)

This weekend is one of the most highly anticipated rematches in recent history. After taking the belt off of Kamaru Usman last time out, Leon Edwards returns home to defend it for the very first time. Not only that, but we have a pair of top lightweights looking to stake their claim at the top of the division. UFC 286 is going to be one that MMA fans don’t want to miss, and we’re, of course, breaking down all the top action on the card. Plus, as always, we’re giving you an underdog and a parlay that we think will make your wallet fat this weekend. For this segment, all odds via FanDuel Sportsbook.

Steven Peterson Interview (30:28)

Closing out this edition of TTP is our interview with UFC featherweight, Steven Peterson. Peterson might not be fighting this weekend at UFC 286, but he is throwing down the following weekend at UFC San Antonio. Much like our first guest, he’s happy to be able to ply his trade back home. He not only shares his thoughts on that fight with Lucas Alexander, but we also get into some of the finer points of his coaching. Working with Saif Saud at Fortis MMA has not only made him a better fighter, but helped him to learn all sides of the game.
