Ahead of Saturday’s Bellator 291 card, fight week has felt as much a celebration of Ukrainian welterweight champ Yaroslav Amosov as anything else.

In lieu of the regular fight promotion, the focus has been on Amosov’s heroics, leaving MMA to join in the defense of his home country after Russia invaded nearly a year ago to the day. The story of Amosov helping to liberate his home town of Irpin, then returning to the ruins of his mother’s house to retrieve his Bellator championship belt, made global headlines.

Highlight reels have given way to a behind the scenes look at Amosov the soldier, even as he returns to a sport where he possesses a 26-0 record to rematch Logan Storley. “Storm” remains one of Amosov’s toughest foes, having taken the Ukrainian the distance in 2020 in a fight that ended in a split decision.

In Amosov’s absence last year, Storley captured interim gold against Michael “Venom” Page, making the Bellator 291 main event a title unification bout.

In the evening’s co-main event, featherweight action saw Pedro Carvalho taking on Canadian Jeremey Kennedy — with the winner inching closer to a potential title shot at 145lbs.

Bellator 291 goes down at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday, February 25, 2023. In the U.S., the main card airs live on Showtime, following online prelims that can be viewed above. The action gets underway at 11:25AM ET. Where available, a main card live stream is below, along with full results from Saturday’s card.
