TTP Ep. 358 with Modestas Bukauskas, Orlando Prins, and UFC Champion Predictions

Modestas Bukauskas Interview (2:05)

Kicking off this edition of TTP is our interview with Cage Warriors light heavyweight, Modestas Bukauskas. Bukauskas gives us an update on how his surgically repaired knee felt the first time out and how he did some mental training to get ready to be in there again. Plus, he talks about his journey back to the UFC. Bukauskas will be fighting Chuck Campbell at Cage Warriors 148 on New Year’s Eve for the vacant Cage Warriors light heavyweight belt. He feels a good performance to take that belt home should also get him back into the big show.

2023 UFC Champion Predictions (17:08)

As we do to end every year, we’re breaking down who we think will be champions come the end of 2023. This past year was a wild one – are the guys predicting an equally crazy one for the year coming up? With divisions like 205lbs that are completely up for grabs, you have to imagine there is going to be some wild scenarios. Not to mention we have a featherweight champ who might not be fighting at featherweight for all that much longer. And as always, the guys don’t exactly see eye to eye. Orlando Prins Interview (46:01)

Closing out this week’s edition of TTP is an interview with Cage Warriors featherweight, Orlando Prins. Prins discusses with Gumby how it was not Struve, Rutten, Schilt, or Overeem that inspired this Dutchman to get into the sport. Instead, it was another old Pride favorite. Plus, he talks about why he gravitated away from kickboxing and wound up falling in love with the ground game. Prins will get a chance to show off those ground skills on New Year’s Eve where he joins Bukauskas on the Cage Warriors 148 card. He’ll fight swede Samuel Bark on that card.
