Bobby Green was in full control at UFC Vegas 66, but one punch from Drew Dober changed things in an instant.

One of the most fan-friendly matchups possible landed on the main card of UFC Vegas 66 as entertaining strikers Bobby Green and Drew Dober squared off. Green was coming off a short-notice main event loss against lightweight champion Islam Makhachev that snapped a two-fight win streak. Dober was 5-2 in his last seven fights with all of those wins coming by knockout.

Bobby Green looked to be in prime form to start the contest. He had his hands low and connected with a quick combination. The fast hands of Green caught Dober again and Dober shot for a takedown. Green kept his balance and reversed the takedown, landing in side control. As he attempted to take mount, Dober was able to stand up. Dober caught Green on the feet and Green acknowledged it with a taunt. Green was in full control of the fight as Dober was unable to react to the quick punches coming from the hip. Big shots connected for Dober here and there, but Green was happy to eat them in order to keep his hands low and counter.

Green started the second round as he did the first, with a strong combination. However, Dober amped up his aggression in the second round and was finding more success. Lengthier combinations began landing for Dober as he had Green on the back foot. Dober had Green’s back to the fence as he let his hands fly. Green avoided four shots, but a fifth left hand turned the lights out as Dober notched a come-from-behind knockout victory.
