The loss of Janet Todd’s title fight with Allycia Hellen Rodrigues has resulted in Senegalese heavyweight Ourmar Kane, a.k.a. “Reug Reug,” joining the ONE on Prime Video 5 card.

Todd vs. Rodrigues was to be an atomweight Mauy Thai title unification bout, and a big part of Friday’s card in Manila, Philippines. With Todd out, a heavyweight match-up between Kane (4-1) and Jasur Mirzamukhamedov (6-0) has instead been shifted to the Amazon-streamed event, after originally being scheduled for ONE 164 on Saturday.

Locally, both cards play out on the Saturday, though ONE on Prime Video 5 is timed to air in U.S. Prime Time the day prior for Western fight fans.

ONE Championship officials announced the switch, and Todd’s withdrawal after testing positive for COVID-19, on Thursday.

Reug Reug got back in the win column in September, earning a second-round TKO against Batradz Gazzaev. One fight prior, the hulking wrestler had suffered his first defeat as a pro, failing to come out for the third round in a fight with Kirill Grishenko.

Uzbekistan’s Mirzamukhamedov is undefeated through six fights, earning a win in his ONE Championship debut in June when he captured a split decision against Duke Didier.

ONE on Prime Video 5 goes down Friday, December 2, 2022 with double-champ Reinier de Ridder facing Anatoly Malykhin in a light heavyweight title fight atop the card. The following bouts have been announced for the event:

Reinier de Ridder (c) vs. Anatoly Malykhin – for the ONE light heavyweight championship
