Bellator MMA returned to Milan, Italy on Saturday for the first time since 2020 — and for the first time with fans in the building since a year prior to that, as they hosted Bellator 287 at the Allianz Cloud Arena.
Lightweight action was in the spotlight in the main event, as Adam Piccolotti anchored his first main event when he welcomed France’s Mansour Barnaoui to the promotion. Barnaoui had landed on the radar by winning ROAD FC’s million dollar tournament in 2019, then capturing lightweight gold in the South Korean organization.
He had not fought since, however. In the co-feature, Fabian Edwards, ranked #2 in Bellator’s middleweight division, threw down with Charlie Ward.
