The UFC is back at the Apex this Saturday for UFC Vegas 59, which also plays host to the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 30.

On Friday, all fighters from the Fight Night card hit the scales, with just a little bit of drama towards the end of the weigh-in window.

Brazil’s Ariane Lipski, set to face countrywoman Priscila Cachoeira, missed the mark, weighing in at 129 pounds for their flyweight fight on her first attempt. Lipski would make a second attempt behind the barrier, shedding an extra half pound — but that still left her well over. 2.5 pounds, to be exact.

Sam Alvey also missed the mark on his first attempt, a single pound over the non-title middleweight limit at 187lbs. While Alvey did not attempt to weigh-in with the barrier, he did continue his cut after getting clearance from medical staff, and hit the mark at 186 on his second attempt.

Full results from Friday’s UFC Vegas 59 weigh-in, plus a gallery of highlights, can be found below. The event takes place Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
